SAMURAI Bushido
On December 2006 started a collaboration with the most popular martial
arts Italian magazine, "SAMURAI Bushido".
With Higaonna Sensei`s authorization and support, as well as Yamashiro
Sensei and everyone of the Honbu dojo, I am writing some Italian articles
every few months to promote Okinawa culture, tradition, and Goju Ryu
Karate training.
I hope that this valuable research will be able to help anyone who is
interested in Traditional Okinawa Goju ryu Karate and Okinawa`s life.

Okinawa Times Interview 2007
On
the 15.July 2007 the "Okinawa Times" sponsored the biggest competition
of Okinawa (Okinawa Times Competition).
The day before the competition ( 14.July), after a previous visit to my children's class for an interview, they published an article about us, because it would be a first students of a foreign teacher would participate in the event.
After the publication of our article, Yamashiro Katsuya
Sensei too wrote a Japanese article about my kids class and
the teams, which participated for the first time in the Okinawa
Times Competition July 2007.
I am very grateful to Yamashiro Sensei who dedicated the "Goju
Shinbun" article to me.
"Goju Shinbun" is the newspaper of the International
Okinawa Goju ryu Karate Federation in Okinawa, entirely written and
edited by Yamashiro Katsuya Sensei.
This is a very precious contribution appreciated by us all.
Italy Trip - May 2008
In
May of this year I spent three weeks in Italy, after two and a half
years absence.
It was a positive experience because of several factors.
Had some newspaper and TV interviews about my life in Okinawa and job as a karate teacher. One of the daily paper, "La Stampa", dedicated an entire page to the article.
A television team (Primo Canale) interviewed me about my life in
Okinawa and my karate teaching job. It was a good experience, as it
was my first television interview about karate.
I hope to get this opportunity in the future again, it will help to
promote traditional Okinawa Goju-ryu Karate.
